MACHAO KIDS HELPING KIDS: Junior ambassadors

There is a deep need in the hearts of the children Machao Orphanage Foundation serves, but also in the hearts of middle and high school students here in the United States.

Bikes 4 Orphans From 16 to College Bound

Sebouh Bazikian, at age 16, chose The Machao Orphanage Foundation as his first orphanage to jumpstart his Bikes 4 Orphans Foundation. Now, a first year student at UCLA, Sebouh has handed off the reigns to his younger brother Shawnt, who has started a club at his high school and solicited other friends to do the same.

To date, the Bikes 4 Orphans team has delivered bicycles to Machao Orphanage (Makueni, Kenya), The Daos Children Centre (Mombasa, Kenya), and this past summer, they delivered 50 bicycles to four different Armenian orphanages, day camp and a children’s hospital.

So, what happens when you combine passion with charity? You're able to make a difference in a child's life.

Do you know a junior ambassador that can serve on behalf of the children of MACHAO? Our staff is available to visit your school and/or we'll be happy to send information packets to be distributed to the students at your school. Participate, take a photo or video, write about your experience and email it to us. It's that simple, loads of fun and life changing for both you and the children of MACHAO.

We wish to thank all the volunteers, students individuals and corporations that made this newsletter and year possible. Most of all, we would like to thank our webmaster and IT guru, Barbara Ford. Barbara keeps our website updated and is all things technical. Without her expertise and dedication to The Machao Orphanage Foundation, we truly would not be able to update you and present this year’s annual newsletter. Like our website, our newsletter, our monthly updates? Contact Barbara at for your graphic needs.
