Our Permaculture Intern is an integral part of assisting the children to have a happy, healthy life.

COMMITMENT LENGTH 1 year (full time)
REQUIREMENTS The work of the Permaculture Intern consists of three aspects:

• To receive invaluable training at Kitui’s Nyambui Village where you will apply this knowledge to improve the quality of the crops, livestock and grounds at MACHAO.

• To learn and share how to grow high-value crops; learn and share marketing skills to get the best price at market; assist the staff at MACHAO; help farm the land with the use of alternative agricultural methods to sustainably reap better crop yields.

• To provide material for the monthly updates and annual newsletter to sponsors and friends of The Machao Orphanage Foundation.  You shall send a monthly report, including stories and pictures about the children and the work you are doing by the 5th of every month to the Executive Director (Dr. Carolyn Rowley) at:
PLEASE NOTE All jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining the Machao Orphanage have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
